Tiger Eye
Inlaid With Desert Jasper & Jet
- This Tiger Eye inlay is created by Navajo Indians, using desert jasper, black jet and sterling silver. The name itself means a significance characteristic of a tiger. This luminescent stone is a member of the quartz group of chalcedonies. It shows a changeable silky luster as light is reflected within the thin parallel fibrous bands. The golden tones of this jewelry really goes with earth tones and gold jewelry. The mosaic-like design within each piece make for a very special jewel. Tiger eye is also the accepted gem for the ninth wedding anniversary making for a wonderful present for that special someone.
