Authentic Dry Creek, or Sacred Buffalo Turquoise, is very rare. It is the true white buffalo turquoise and should never be confused with other stones that are actually howlite, magnesite and other white stones.

Turquoise is formed from a complex recipe of copper, aluminum, phosphorus, water and other available invasive minerals that are present in the ground. Green turquoise occurs when there is iron existing in the mix. |
Because the #8 Turquoise mine has been closed since 1976, once the reserve is gone there will be no more material to make into jewelry. This turquoise is highly prized, both for its uniquely beautiful appearance, but especially for its rarity. |
